The Edo State Government wishes to inform the general public that the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved the appointment of Nina Adaba as Special Adviser to the Governor on Humanitarian Affairs and Civil Society Organizations.
In the same vein, Johnson Jibril Adamu, who previously served as Special Adviser to the Governor on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, has been reappointed as Special Adviser to the Governor on Environmental Sustainability.
Nina Adaba is a distinguished philanthropist, humanitarian and advocate for women’s empowerment. She is the founder of two active Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), through which she has positively impacted numerous lives, particularly women, youths and other vulnerable members of society.
A member of several reputable NGOs and the Nigerian-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce, Nina Adaba has consistently demonstrated a commitment to social development, community service and economic empowerment initiatives. Her passion for humanitarian service, as well as youth and women’s development, has earned her recognition as a compassionate leader and an agent of positive change.
The appointments take immediate effect.
