Ballon d’Or: Lookman finishes ahead of Saka, Palmer and Rice

Nigerian ace Ademola Lookman finished 14th in the Ballon d’Or standing, an impressive top-15 position with his first ever nomination.

The Super Eagles star guaranteed himself a nomination after he led Atalanta to their first European title, scoring a hat-trick in the Europa League final.

The nomination in itself was a huge acknowledgement of the season he had, as it was his first. In addition to that, the Nigerian received a relatively high placement.
