The newly appointed secretary to the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission, Comrade Tosin Johnson Adeyanju has formally assumed office on Tuesday 4th August 2026 with the pledge to contribute his best towards the actualisation of the Commission’s mandate.
At the handing over ceremony which took place at the new Boardroom of the Commission, Adeyanju praised his predecessor Engr. Joseph Nwaze Okechukwu for his services to the nation.
He pledged to work collaboratively with the members and staff to advance the Commission’s mandate while expressing gratitude to the President and Commander in Chief of the armed forces, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR for his appointment.
On his part, the former Secretary to the Commission Engr. Joseph Nwaze Okechukwu thanked the Chairman Dr. Mohammed Bello Shehu OFR, the members and staff of the Commission for the support and cooperation accorded him during his tenure and urged everyone to extend same to his successor.
Before his appointment as the secretary to RMAFC, Comrade Tosin Adeyanju served as the Executive Secretary of the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF), where he provided administrative leadership and oversaw the implementation of the Fund’s statutory mandate. His appointment to the Commission is expected to further strengthen its administrative machinery in the discharge of its constitutional responsibilities.
Comrade Adeyanju was appointed following the expiration of the tenure of Engr. Joseph Okechukwu Nwaze. His appointment marks the beginning of a new phase in the administrative leadership of the Commission.
