To inform and communicate effectively to the general populace, publicity plays a vital role in disseminating Government programmes, events, projects and milestone achievements.
This was disclosed recently by the National Coordinator/Chief Executive Officer (NC/CEO), Africa Union Development Agency/New Partnership for Africa’s Development (AUDA-NEPAD) Nigeria, Hon. Jabiru Salisun Abdullahi Tasuri,
in a meeting with the media and protocol staff of the agency.
In his welcome address, Hon. Jabiru charges the Agency’s staff to be more productive and proactive in their respective duties, stating that diligence brings quality results.
He further stated that the media unit should work out yearly publicity plans and modalities that showcases what the agency aims to achieve at the end of every quarter.
What AUDA/NEPAD Nigeria has achieved in terms of national and international collaborations and aimed to achieved should be published on regular basis, to keep Citizens abreast of current happenings of the agency. Salisun added.
Abdullahi, uses this medium to commend and encourage the officers of the unit for their excellent service delivery so far, and hope to achieve more goals in the years to come.
