The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Federal Information Chapel held an inaugural Congress of the on Wednesday at the National Press Centre, Abuja.
While thanking the members for the unwavering support before, during and after the election that ushered in the Innovative leadership of the Chapel in October, 2024, the Chairman, Comrade Raphael Towoju assured them of improved welfare and capacity building which he believes would improve the productivities of members in discharging their official duties in the Ministry.
Comrade Towoju stressed the need for timely payment of membership registration fees so as to enable the Union to serve them better.
The Chairman reiterated that the Chapel is engaging reputable organisations and individuals in a bid to attracting better training opportunities for members.

He assured of the commitment of his team to bring more innovations that will help the Union to support the Honourable Minister, Mohammed Idris, fnipr, in implementing the mandate of the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
