In order to have an operational and functional system, promotion is paramount for the development and carrier progression for all civil servants.
This was disclosed by the National Coordinator/Chief Executive Officer (NC/CEO), Africa Union Development Agency/New Partnership for Africa’s Development (AUDA/NEPAD) Nigeria, Hon. Jabiru Salisun Abdullahi Tasauri, during a courtesy visit to the Commissioner’s office, Federal Civil Service Commission in charge of AUDA/NEPAD Nigeria on Appointment, Promotion and Discipline matters.
Hon. Jabiru applauded the Commissioner’s for the disciplinary measures during promotion examinations, stating that this helps to bring orderliness and know the qualified officers that will be promoted during these exercises.
On his part, the Commissioner, Federal Civil Service Commission, in charge of AUDA/NEPAD Nigeria on Appointment, Promotion and Discipline, Hon. Oyebade Festus, said that the commissions goal aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR on the “RENEWED HOPE AGENDA“.
The commissioner commended the orderliness and show of respect by officers who participated in the just concluded examinations organized by the commission for the month of November, 2024.
“Doing the best we can, to ensure all officers get the requirements to participate and be successful in every promotional examination is our core values” Hon Festus.
